What to Bring (Rental Edition)
The beds are all covered with a waterproof mattress cover, so be sure to bring sheets, blankets, pillows (or sleeping bags!), and bath/beach towels. (We DO provide kitchen towels, dish soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and trash bags.)
Note: If you are traveling from overseas, we will be happy to provide linens for a small fee. Just make sure to let us know when you make the reservation that you'll need them!
Some people just prefer to eat out while they're on vacation, but our rentals all include a full kitchen: sink, stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and freezer. Plus, pretty much everything you'll need for cooking is right there, so feel free to bring some things to make some meals or stop by an area grocery store after you unload your stuff. We're always ready to give directions or share some restaurant recommendations, if you'd rather do that!
Our camp store offers a selection of groceries that you may have forgotten.
Campfire Chairs (optional)
Each site comes equipped with a fire-ring and picnic table, but if you want to sit around the fire at night, you might want to bring some camping chairs!
Picnic Table Cloth (optional)
Some people like the "natural" feeling of a wooden picnic table. Others prefer a table cloth. If you fall into the latter category, bring one along! (Usually available for purchase in the camp store if you forget.)
Fishing Poles (optional)
We have small ponds on the property that provide tons of fishing fun for kids of all ages. (No swimming in the ponds). You're welcome to bring some poles with! We sell worms in the camp store. We also have a couple poles you can rent (deposit) if you don't have room in your suitcase. ;)
Swimming Suits (if you want to go swimming!)
Not only do we have a heated swimming pool, we're also not too far from many sandy beaches on Lake Michigan! Just ask for directions in the camp store.
